Mike's Command Ceremony

Wow! He's finally done it. Mike has been waiting for this opportunity since he was commissioned in December, 1999. On Wednesday, May 24th, Mike officially took command of Bravo Company, 610 Batallion, 4th Brigade. The ceremony was rather inpressive as we watched 8 different companies officially "assumed" by their new commanders. Boni came out from Denver to see Mike doing something "grown up". Her aunt and uncle from Salina, who supported our family through this last deployment, were also able to join us. Mike has received numerous gifts and congratulations from all our friends and family. We thank you very much! I managed to get a few pictures while trying to make sure that Sienna stayed asleep through the ceremony and Meadow stayed quiet through the ceremony (I was successful at the former, not so much with the latter). Boni also sent a few shots that she got. Unfortunately they won't all fit on here. I'll try and shrink them into a mass email. Thanks again for all your support!
